Summary of WiZiQ

WiZiQ is described as being a tool to bring students and teachers together. It is said that joining WiZiQ is free. Members of WiZiQ consist of teachers, students, and the others who are interested in the subjects. They share their knowledge with each other thanks to WiZiQ. They can also send invites to their contacts, e-mail their invitations to their web mail accounts right from WiZiQ, and search people with similar interest on the subjects to communicate with them.
As for content, it is possible to download or upload PowerPoint presentations related to educational issues. They can be shared with other members. Uploading presentations, PDFs, and documents has no limitation. Members can find presentation about the subjects they are interested in easily.
Members can also schedule sessions with a participant or a group. These sessions are online classes to teach or learn live on whiteboards which have many features. Participating in the online sessions with live audio and video is possible thanks to WiZiQ. In virtual classroom of WiZiQ, it is possible to learn and teach online. The sessions can be recorded in order to reach and learn again. Virtual classroom is an alternative to face-to-face education process according to WiZiQ. It does not require downloading software as it is web-based. Some features of virtual classroom in WiZiQ are audio-video communication, text messaging, whiteboard, PowerPoint, PDF etc.
